One Way Street of New Thought is a musical collaboration between Dave Allison and Andy Perry. We met at Newham College of Further Education, London, in 1995, where we were both studying music technology. We became friends after a trip to Megadog. We share a variety of tastes and influences, including Detroit techno, Orbital, Aphex Twin, Plaid, Autechre, The Black Dog, The Future Sound of London, Steve Reich, and John Cage. Meeting only sporadically but always enthusiastically, our music has evolved spontaneously, keeping pace with the relentless advance of progress and change in electronic music. We are part of Hybrid Productions.
